정보과학회 스토리지연구회는 매년 우수논문 한 편을 선정하여 스토리지연구회 논문상을 시상한다.
스토리지, 운영체제 등 시스템 소프트웨어 분야에서 발간된 지 15년 이상 된 논문을 대상으로 한다.
시스템 분야 발전에 탁월한 공헌을 하고 그 영향력이 인정된 논문을 선정하여 시상한다.
본상은 카이스트 원유집 교수님 그리고 성균관대 이상원 교수님이 2016년과 2022년에 수상하신 한국정보과학회 가헌학술상 수상금 전액을 기부하여 재정되었다.
